Compensation: $75000-$90000

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am -4:00pm (Onsite)

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):

  • Enter journal entries for seven entities accurately and correctly and review for
  • Perform month and year end closing processes in an efficient complete accurate and timely accordance with close deadlines.
  • Maintain tracking systems to assure that all accounting tasks are completed and reported
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements to identify trends variances and areas of improvement.
  • Provide coverage for specific assigned functions of the accounting
  • Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries accruals and journal entries.
  • Maintain General Ledger Chart of
  • Support revenue recognition processes related to government contracts (County/State/Federal) ensuring timely and accurate contract-based invoicing.
  • Review contracts for key financial terms and ensure proper accounting treatment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Contracts Project Management and Program Management to ensure accurate billing and revenue tracking.
  • Supports audits including the annual financial statement audit and Single Audit (Uniform Guidance) by providing schedules and documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of software to create reports documents and other fiscal documentation for appropriate reconciliation and
  • Review monthly T&E expense reports to ensure compliance with Company policy and proper accounting.
  • Ensure that expenses are within budget guidelines and notify management of any
  • Work effectively on a team to develop internal systems to improve or ensure accurate efficient and high- quality accounting processes and train other team members in areas of special operational competency to assure
  • Maintains professional relationships with payers venders and community support service representatives and external agencies and provide support to internal staff in the understanding and analysis of general ledger financial data.
  • Review on a regular basis posting of accounts receivable and accounts payable data entry to ensure accurate posting.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education: B.A in Accounting

Minimum Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive General Ledger Experience.

Preferred Experience: Senior Level Accountant experience with a multi-entity organization with annual revenues over $100M;Familiarity with cost reimbursement contracts

Required Clearances: Criminal History clearance. FBI clearance. Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Minimum License and Certification: None

Additional Requirements: Ability to communicate on the telephone write speak read type ability to manipulate numbers sit for long periods go up and down steps lift 20 lbs. use a computer work with little direct supervision and use a computer. Must have the ability to understand technical written material. Must have the ability to obtain a valid certification in CPR/First Aid and have full awareness of environmental stimuli.
