How youll contribute

An Occupational Therapist (OT)who excels in this role:

Assess patients ability to safely and effectively perform occupational skills.
Design the appropriate plan of care including type and frequency of treatment.
Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
Document subjective and objective findings of the patients progress.
Monitor and modify the plan of care as needed.
Seek consultation if necessary.
Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
Supervise and delegate the care provided by certified occupational therapist and therapy technician according to established licensing laws state regulations and practice standards.

AZ state licensure for Occupational Therapy.
