About the Role
Capital One is looking for a strategic results-driven events professional to join our Campus Events team in Mexico City. Youll be responsible for leading recruiting technology event experiences that grow our reputation as a tech leader and an employer of choice. Youll engage and inform technologists about life at Capital One our innovative tech and world-class workforce our distinctive company culture and our commitments to changing bankingand the communities around usfor good.

Responsibilities:
- Establish an event strategy and detailed roadmap to grow our reputation as a technology leader and employer of choice above the top universities in Mexico
- Plan coordinate and execute engaging and impactful events including conferences meetups hackathons workshops online webinars recruiting invitationals and open houses
- Manage all aspects of event logistics including selection and management of vendors partners and venues event communications budgeting registration scheduling and coordination of all day-of logistics for in-person and virtual events
- Travel as needed to manage and attend events conferences and meetings
- Proactively track evaluate and share event results against goals
- Retro timing coordination and deck-building support
- Master logistics doc creation and maintenance
- Owns events data management and regularly provides in-time insights to drive strategy
- Tracks monitors and provides insights on key metrics (Volume of events volume of attendees attendee-to-applicant metrics survey feedback insights)
- Proactively shares insights to ensure we are tracking toward our goals
- Owns survey strategy and rollout for the recruiting season for both internal (our associate volunteers) and external (candidates) parties
- Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional partners to implement a range of strategies and creative solutions to reach key target audiences
- Ability to influence in meetings with senior management regarding event strategy and ensuring proper compliance from start to finish
- Serving as a subject matter expert on the systems and tools associated with planning and executing events using their knowledge to influence and inform senior leaders
- Cultivate partnerships and relationships with industry influencers thought leaders and potential event partners
Basic Qualifications:
- Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
- Bachelors degree in marketing communications business administration or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in event management campus recruitment or related roles
- At least 1 year of experience in tech industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in Campus Recruiting
- 2 years of experience in planning events
- Strong communication skills
