The Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Orthopaedic Registrars and Senior Registrars to join a busy surgical team. This is a hands-on role providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient orthopaedic services.
Youll gain unparalleled exposure to a wide range of trauma elective and reconstructive orthopaedic conditions while working closely with specialist surgeons in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to inpatients and outpatients within the Orthopaedic Department.
  • Participate in operating theatre lists including opportunities to perform surgeries under supervision (Registrar level).
  • Supervise junior doctors and contribute to education programs for interns residents and medical students.
  • Take part in the on-call roster to support 24/7 service delivery.
  • Engage in research quality improvement and peer review activities.
  • Foster a positive safe and culturally respectful workplace.
About You
Registrar Requirements:
  • Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • At least 2 years postgraduate experience with exposure to orthopaedics or surgery.
Senior Registrar Requirements:
  • Eligible for general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years relevant postgraduate experience.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
  • A commitment to improving Indigenous health outcomes.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting junior staff.
