Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent on a maternity cover basis. This full-time role provides an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and support childrens academic and personal development in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Year 1 Teacher Responsibilities
Plan deliver and differentiate lessons for Year 1 students catering to diverse learning needs.
Assess and monitor pupil progress providing constructive feedback and support.
Maintain a safe positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum activities and share best practices.
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
Support pupils social emotional and academic development.
Year 1 Teacher Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in KS1 preferably Year 1.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passionate about teaching and committed to inspiring children.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
