Job Summary
A well-resourced secondary school in Newcastle is recruiting a PE ECT to join its energetic PE department from January 2026. The successful applicant will teach KS3 and KS4 Physical Education support extracurricular sport and receive tailored ECT support throughout their first year.
PE ECT required from January 2026
Full-time role in a Newcastle secondary school
Teach boys and mixed PE across KS3 and KS4
Ideal for a PE ECT who is enthusiastic committed and eager to contribute to school sport beyond the classroom.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS with a PE or Sports Science background
Strong practical knowledge and confident in activity delivery
Willingness to run or assist extracurricular clubs and fixtures
Legal right to work in the UK
