Job Summary
Job Summary (Technical Engineer Remote CST)
- Provide daily support for payment systems across hotel properties via ServiceNow Helpdesk managing incidents service requests and escalations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to payment gateways payment terminals and middleware in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
- Support and maintain Oracle Opera Cloud PMS (Property Management System) integrations to ensure reliable hotel payment operations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs knowledge base articles and integration guides.
- Utilize PowerShell scripting and automation tools to streamline tasks monitor systems and generate reports.
- Assist with managing payment device connectivity including POS systems network configurations and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira for ticketing project tracking and agile workflows.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS standards and secure handling of cardholder data.
- Participate in system integration projects; learn and document how PMS POS and payment gateways interact.
- Proactively monitor systems using tools like Datadog or Splunk to prevent and address incidents.
- Maintain a positive team-oriented attitude and a motivation to learn and grow within the hospitality payments technology sector.
