Location: Atlanta GA 30342

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift (Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Weekly Pay Rate: $1840 - $2000; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Social Worker for a 13-week contract role based in Atlanta GA. The ideal candidate will support patients and families by offering trauma-informed care completing psychosocial assessments and coordinating resources across emergency and other clinical service areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop care plans.
Complete child protection assessments as needed.
Provide crisis intervention trauma support and end-of-life counseling.
Connect patients and families with appropriate community and hospital resources.
Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Document all activities and services in EMR (Epic preferred).

Qualifications:

Required:
- GA or Multi-State LCSW license.
- Open to candidates with GA LMSW (Social Worker 1) or LCSW (Social Worker 2).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant social work experience.
Preferred:
- BLS Certification.
- Pediatric experience in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
