Ultrasound Tech (Eve Shift)
Location: Utica NY 13502
Duration: 13 week
Schedule: Monday Friday 03:00 PM 11:00 PM (8-hour eve shifts)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2400 - $2600; Depending on experience (negotiable)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Ultrasound Technologist for an evening shift contract assignment at a healthcare facility in Utica NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in general ultrasound OB/GYN and vascular studies and be comfortable working independently during off-hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including:
- General Ultrasound
- OB/GYN Ultrasound
- Vascular Ultrasound
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure image quality meets diagnostic standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers for accurate interpretation and patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulations and safety protocols
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure comfort throughout the imaging process
- Flexibility to cover occasional day shifts as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Certification:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 2 years of experience performing general OB/GYN and vascular ultrasounds
- Skills:
- Strong technical skills in sonography
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
