Pay Rate: $52 - $58; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available: 12-hr Shifts
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality compassionate and patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and specialized nursing care to patients in the ICU.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs administer medications and manage life-support equipment.
- Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with physicians respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient status procedures and nursing care in the EMR system.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-ICU care as needed.
- Adhere to infection control safety and quality care standards.
Qualifications:
- Active and Valid (Hawaii) RN license required
- Minimum 1 2 years of ICU experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking communication and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
