As a Process Engineer you ll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of high-performance materials. Your expertise in process optimization and your technical curiosity will directly influence the industrial scale-up of cutting-edge processes developed in close partnership with leading global industry players.

Your Mission:
- Optimize and automate pyrolysis and furnace processes for producing high-purity 3C-SiC
- Shape the transition from pilot-scale to full industrial-scale production driving technical improvement initiatives
- Analyze and enhance process stability parameters and energy efficiency
- Work hand-in-hand with industry partners to implement scalable identical processes at industrial sites
- Serve as the bridge between process engineering plant design automation and IT
- Document and evaluate experimental data to ensure continuous process enhancement
- Define technical requirements for sensors control systems and software integration
Your Profile:
- Degree in Process Engineering Chemical Engineering Physical Engineering or a related technical field
- Several years of experience in optimizing high-temperature processes ideally in pyrolysis or the ceramics industry
- Hands-on experience with powder handling and conveyance systems
- Strong understanding of process automation PLC systems data collection and analysis
- Proven track record in scaling laboratory or pilot systems to industrial production
- Analytical mindset strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and with external partners
