Job role: Benefits Specialist
Duration: Up to 90 days (potential for extension)
Location: Fremont CA 94538 onsite 5 days a week
Hours: 8am 5pm 40 hours/week
Interview Process: 30-minute interview to hire
Client is currently undergoing a Workday implementation and due to an unplanned leave of their Benefits Manager theyre seeking short-term support to maintain continuity during a critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the benefits inbox responding to inquiries related to open enrollment and post-enrollment transitions
- Perform administrative tasks such as Medicare reimbursement tracking check processing and documentation
- Support pre- and post-enrollment activities including data entry and employee communications
- Maintain and update Excel-based tracking tools
- Navigate and utilize ADP for benefits-related tasks
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in benefits administration
- Familiarity with pension plans and Medicare processes
- Strong proficiency in Excel and general computer navigation
- Experience with ADP is required
- Workday experience is a plus especially in the context of open enrollment (they currently have a Workday contractor supporting this)
- Healthcare industry experience is a nice to have.
