JOB TITLE: Toolmaker Jig and Fixture
LOCATION: Pinellas Park FL
PAY RATE: $30/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and CAD drawings

• Design and fabricate jigs fixtures and templates for production

• Measure mark cut shape and finish metal stock to exact specifications

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools (lathes mills grinders drills)

• File grind and shim metals for accurate fit and smooth finish

• Assemble and repair tools dies and molds

• Inspect finished tooling for dimensional accuracy surface finish and contour

• Apply knowledge of materials (metals fiberglass thermoplastics) and machining processes

• Troubleshoot and solve complex fabrication problems

• Follow safety protocols and maintain clean organized work areas

• Collaborate effectively with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent technical training and experience

• Strong ability to visualize and compute shapes tolerances and dimensions

• Proficient in manual and CNC machining setup and operation

• Excellent attention to detail problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Highly motivated safety-conscious and quality-driven team player

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
