Job Summary
This introduction is aimed at logistics managers and those involved in logistics
projects. It provides an overview of the ARP Core Model explains the key changes
related to ARP PSCL and presents the tools for managing day-to-day operations.
This training is part of a three-part course (Introduction Inbound Outbound and
Parasitic Flows) the chronology of which is based on the progressive migration
strategy. The topics are examined holistically and process monitoring is addressed.
Learning objectives:
Understanding ARP Core model global strategy and perimeter of activities
Understanding the impacts of the new deployement strategy and the tools used to
manage the transition phase
Understanding the global Strategy for Customs flow management within GTS
Understanding the EWM project context and main benefits of the solution
Understanding the function of each level of the company structure and the warehouse
structure with the MM / EWM configuration
Understanding the process of material sheet update and the prerequistes for
purchasing and goods receipt including the TO DO List process
Being able to consult stock in ARP
Understanding and being able to use SAP Enable Now functionalites for self-training
