Job Summary
This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- 40 hours/week
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm GMT with 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize Sage accounting software for seamless daily operations
- Process payments efficiently through integrated construction industry software systems
- Develop and monitor budget forecasts and cash flow projections to support business growth
- Manage comprehensive payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness
- Handle diverse accounting activities that keep the business running smoothly
- Ensure full compliance with UK tax obligations and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements
- Collaborate effectively with external accounting partners for year-end processes and strategic planning
Requirements
- Proven experience with Sage accounting software (MUST)
- Strong expertise in UK business accounting practices and tax compliance (MUST)
- Construction industry accounting experience highly preferred
- Solid understanding of CIS regulations and construction-specific financial requirements
- Ability to work effectively with integrated software platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy
- Self-motivated professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment
