Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth for a thriving estate planning practice through strategic outreach and relationship development. Youll be at the forefront of expanding the firms successful speaking engagement program using your research and sales skills to identify and secure valuable opportunities where the firm can provide educational services to families in need of estate planning guidance. This role combines the satisfaction of meaningful work - helping families protect their futures - with the excitement of business development in a growing practice. Youll work directly with the attorney-owner to build and execute outreach strategies that have already proven successful while having the autonomy to develop new approaches and channels for growth.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify prime speaking engagement opportunities at schools preschools community centers and educational facilities.
- Execute strategic outreach campaigns to secure bookings for complimentary estate planning education sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers at target organizations through professional phone email and social media communication.
- Manage all prospect and client information within the Clio CRM system ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for speaking events to ensure seamless execution.
- Follow up on leads and opportunities generated from successful speaking engagements.
- Support broader business development initiatives and lead generation activities.
- Collaborate directly with the attorney to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Create and update marketing materials presentations and outreach content using Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Canva.
- Utilize social media platforms such as Facebook LinkedIn and Nextdoor to promote educational sessions engage with community groups and enhance visibility.

- Proven experience in sales business development or relationship-building roles.
- Strong research and prospecting abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional outreach.
- Experience with CRM systems (Clio experience preferred but not required).
