Job Summary

Behavior Technician (Training Provided) Virginia Beach VA

Clinic-Based and In-Home Opportunities Full-Time & Part-Time $17.00$21.00 per hour (based on experience and education)

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) Behavior Technicians work directly with children with autism to help them learn communication social and life skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). No prior experience is required paid training is provided to help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.

Position Details

Setting: Clinic-based and in-home (Virginia Beach VA)
Schedule: MondayFriday; preference for availability until 7 PM (not required)
Status: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Pay Range: $17.00$21.00 per hour (based on experience and education)

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Follow individualized treatment and behavior plans
Record and track client progress accurately
Support children in building communication social and independence skills
Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain a positive learning environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Coursework or background in psychology education or a related field (preferred)
Experience working with children (such as babysitting tutoring coaching or camp counseling)
Reliable patient and eager to learn new skills
