Job Summary
We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:
- Cleaning and maintaining machine to TPM Standards
- Learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities
- Weigh-Up Batches: Following process order of addition. Shift auto and manual steps
- Mix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOPs
- Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards
- Creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times
- Canning
- Operating the following: Press out unit pump filter equipment and forklift
- Acting as a QC liaison providing ink samples making ink adjustments and recording data
- Completing scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures
- Helping with repacks
Qualifications :
To perform your job as expected you will be required to:
- Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
- Have 3 months of work related experience
- Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
- Have attention to detail
- Be reliable to work assigned shift
- Be flexible to work overtime as required
- Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
- Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
- Have good attendance and punctuality
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
In addition to these qualifications we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Forklift experience but we can train you
- Mixing Mill and Pump filter industry background
- Previous experience within the Ink Industry
