Job Summary
Join TTPs IT team and help deliver secure reliable and modern platforms for 350 scientists engineers and designers. Youll keep our core services running smoothly today while shaping where we go next - from cloud-first infrastructure to the smart safe use of AI in the workplace.
What youll do
- Own and improve end-user computing identity networking and collaboration platforms (M365/Entra ID Intune Windows/macOS Wi-Fi/LAN VPN SSO).
- Lead small projects end-to-end - from design to delivery.
- Automate and modernise with Infrastructure as Code and Azure/AWS migration.
- Champion secure-by-default principles and Zero Trust.
- Explore AI tools (e.g. Copilot) and help colleagues use them effectively.
- Collaborate across TTP with clear friendly communication.
About you
Were looking for someone who enjoys combining deep technical knowledge with curiosity and a service mindset. Youll bring:
- Hands-on experience supporting and administering Microsoft 365/Entra ID Intune Windows 11 and macOS in a medium-to-large environment.
- Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP DNS/DHCP VLANs Wi-Fi) and practical experience with firewalls and VPNs.
- Scripting or automation skills (PowerShell or Python) and a habit of codifying repeatable work.
- Exposure to Azure and/or AWS (IAM compute storage cost awareness) and an interest in cloud migration and modernisation.
- A proactive approach to security MFA conditional access endpoint protection/EDR logging/monitoring and incident response.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies particularly AI in the enterprise balanced with a pragmatic approach to risk and compliance.
