Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Software Engineering Manager you will have opportunities to grow both technically and professionally. Youll have opportunity to:
- Contribute to the development of Experians flagship Android native application
- Implement new features
- Enhance existing ones based on our requirements
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
- Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives
- Resolve performance and scalability issues
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues reported by users or discovered through testing
- Ensure the application meets Googles design principles and interface guidelines
- Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and technologies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of code APIs and development processes
- Provide clear technical documentation for future reference
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Android app development
- You are proficiency in Kotlin and Java
- Experience with Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and XML
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
- Knowledge of Googles design principles and interface guidelines
- Experience with version control systems like GitHub
- Proficiency in Android Studio and other development tools
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for Android apps

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills experience and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
