JOB DESCRIPTION:

The scope of our mission is to reinforce a technical sales engineering team as a right-hand Project Lead to coordinate and execute client projects from mechanical design to industrialization ensuring seamless collaboration between R&D production and commercial teams.

The key responsibilities expected from our on-site delegate might include:

1. Support projects by facilitating communication between stakeholders and progress towards objectives:
- Support internal and external sales teams with technical advice and guidance.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate proactive communication with commercial teams clients and R&D teams.
- Lead technical meetings and support sales teams during client visits.
- Communicate project progress and deliverables.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Motivate and engage internal and external stakeholders.

2. Support projects with rational and data-driven assessments regarding costs quality and timelines providing objective analyses for decision-making:
- Participate in internal and external audits (suppliers).
- Assess and identify project requirements and customer needs.
- Monitor and oversee project schedules and stakeholders.
- Evaluate and measure project performance.
- Verify product data in the ERP system.
- Conduct market knowledge consolidation and competitive monitoring.

3. Support projects through high-quality and detail-oriented execution ensuring accuracy and meeting expectations:
- Develop technical solutions meeting client specifications.
- Design and model products using CAD (Solidworks or other).
- Implement and integrate industrialization and production methods.
- Analyze mechanical expertise for pre- and post-sales service.
- Contribute to product marketing (catalogues LinkedIn etc.).
- Administer product data in ERP system.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.

The experience we are actively looking for:
- Degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in product design project management and coordination of industrial or manufacturing projects.
- Knowledge of mechanical design (Solidworks or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of materials science and production methods.
- Proficiency in French and English (Dutch or German is a plus).
- Excellent communication planning and organizational skills.
- An entrepreneurial experience or ambition is a plus (extra-professional or extra-academic is a great start).
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Presence in Belgium is preferred with valid Single Permit for non-EU citizens.
