Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean safe and organized facility environment. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work follow established cleaning procedures and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties in offices restrooms breakrooms and production or warehouse areas.
Sweep mop vacuum and scrub floors and surfaces as needed.
Empty trash recycling and waste containers regularly.
Restock restroom and breakroom supplies.
Clean windows doors walls and other surfaces as assigned.
Support special cleaning projects or seasonal deep cleans.
Follow safety guidelines and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
Report any maintenance issues safety hazards or needed repairs to supervision.
Requirements
Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending standing and walking for extended periods.
Reliable attendance and positive work attitude.
PPE & Dress Code
PPE: Standard safety equipment such as gloves safety glasses and hearing protection (provided as needed).
Dress Code: Clean neat and work-appropriate clothing per company policy.
