Job Description

Earn $19.00 per hour
Full Time 1st Shift
Sunday Monday Tuesday Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm.
500 North St Windsor Locks CT 06096
You will contribute by:
Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor
Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse including office space employee break areas windows and restrooms
Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping mopping vacuuming buffing and waxing floors
Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning product
Tending to spills including damaged product oil grease etc.
Collecting plastic wrap shredded paper and empty boxes to be disposed of properly
Following all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight shape and height levels
Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures
Whats a great way to stay in shape
Continually Standing bending pulling lifting pivoting up to 90% of shift
Walking on various surfaces including concrete tile carpet etc.
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
