Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Oklahoma City OK

Duration: 12 Months

Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Position Responsibilities:

Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces
Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
Performs analyses for reliability maintainability diagnostics system health testability and other quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
Develops maintains and identifies improvements for the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
Resolves cross-functional technical issues
Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on: Day-to-day activities would include the generation of component-level FMECA analyses or predictions and the associated research/discussions necessary.
Describe the required skill set/experience for the resources: FMECA Reliability Maintainability System Health Predictions

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
4 years of experience with Systems Engineering principles
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Word Excel PowerPoint etc.
Great communications and writing skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple organizational levels in dynamic fast-paced environment
Critical thinking skills; ability to work in agile flexible team environment


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience using the Systems Engineering V implementing a System onto a product
System Engineering requirements and verifications experience.
Able to lead by influence outside formal reporting relationships.
5 years of Reliability Maintainability and System Health experience
5 years of working experience in Failure Mode Effect Analysis Reliability & Maintainability Predictions and/or Reliability Testing activities
Masters dagree in Engineering Statistics Mathematics Systems Engineering or related disciplines.
3 years of experience with Reliability and Maintainability engineering principles.
