Now Hiring: Customer Service Representative (Healthcare)

Position Details:

  • Department: CS Medi-Cal Call Center
  • Rate: $23.00 $31.05/hr
  • Work Arrangement: Temp Contract (Full-time) on-site
  • Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Location: 505 City Parkway West Orange CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Support (80%): Provide excellent customer service handle member/provider inquiries maintain quality standards and serve as a resource for team members.
  • Administrative Support (15%): Assist with departmental tasks address eligibility enrollment claims and authorization questions document interactions accurately and build relationships internally and externally.
  • Other (5%): Complete projects and duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year plus of call center experience (Medi-Cal/Medicaid or health services experience preferred)
  • Typing speed of 35 WPM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal/Medicaid or health services
  • Strong problem-solving project management and communication skills

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Build rapport and maintain effective relationships with diverse teams
  • Work independently with sound judgment
  • Communicate clearly organize work and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other job-specific systems

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit stand type bend walk lift 10 25 lbs and read computer screens and printed materials
  • Clear verbal communication and hearing for telephone interactions

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoor office or clinical settings with moderate noise levels
  • Occasional community-based or outdoor work with varied conditions
