Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
- BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred.
- Stepdown IMCU or critical care experience preferred.
- Strong assessment telemetry monitoring and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for acutely ill stepdown patients.
- Monitor vitals cardiac rhythms and telemetry.
- Administer medications IV therapies and treatments.
- Educate patients and families on recovery plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control.
- Respond to emergencies and manage complications.
Required Skills:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts. BLS and ACLS required; CCRN preferred. Stepdown IMCU or critical care experience preferred. Strong assessment telemetry monitoring and critical thinking skills.
