Civil Site Designer/Engineer
Location: Raleigh NC

About the Role
seeking a self-motivated Civil Site Designer/Engineer to join our Raleigh office. This full-time position involves preparing construction documents for residential subdivisions commercial site plans and a variety of civil site development projects. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally in areas including site layout stormwater management grading utility design erosion control and permitting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop site design plans including layout grading storm drainage water and sanitary sewer systems
Produce mass grading plans roadway grades alignments and earthwork calculations
Prepare construction quantity takeoffs and support subdivision layout
Complete supporting calculations and permitting documents
Coordinate with internal teams and external clients
Perform field work and office-based design tasks
Support multiple projects simultaneously and work independently

Qualifications

A.A.S. or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 10 years of civil site/CADD design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2018 or higher) Excel and MS Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with site and construction permitting processes
Familiarity with reading and applying codes regulations and design guidelines
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a team-oriented environment
E.I. or P.E. licensure preferred but not required
Comfortable interacting with clients and the public
Business development and proposal support experience a plus
