Salary Range :$1300-$2000 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidates level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our fast-paced direct-to-consumer ecommerce company. As an integral part of our finance team you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records ensuring accuracy and compliance and providing valuable insights to support the companys financial goals. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with QuickBooks a solid understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in using various tools such as Google Docs and other accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Recording and Reporting:
- Record financial transactions accurately and timely into QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements credit card transactions and other financial records.
2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Process vendor invoices review for accuracy and ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and send invoices to customers and follow up on collections.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in budget preparation and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Aid in financial forecasting and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
4. Tax Compliance:
- Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
- Monitor tax regulations and ensure the companys compliance with relevant tax laws.
5. Inventory Management:
- Support inventory management by reconciling inventory records and conducting periodic physical counts.
6. Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
7. General Accounting Support:
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
8. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations marketing and sales to gain insights and support decision-making processes.

Qualifications

3 years of proven experience as an Accountant with a focus on QuickBooks and other accounting software.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in using Google Docs and other tools typically utilized by accountants.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain high levels of accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience in the ecommerce industry is a plus.
