About the Opportunity

Medico Hub is recruiting a licensed pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. This on-site position requires professional dispensing inventory control and patient-facing services delivered in the relevant regional language. Compensation is INR per month dependent on experience and performance.

Role & Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescription medications after verifying prescriptions and patient details.
Provide clear medication counselling and OTC advice in the local/regional language to patients and caregivers.
Manage drug inventory: stock ordering expiry checks returns processing and stock rotation to minimise wastage.
Ensure correct storage and cold chain management for temperature-sensitive products and vaccines.
Maintain regulatory and compliance records (purchase/sale registers controlled drug logs) and support inspections.
Operate billing/point-of-sale systems maintain cash/transaction records and coordinate with store staff on daily operations.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

BPharm or DPharm qualification.
Current registration with the State Pharmacy Council (registered pharmacist).
Fluency in the regional language relevant to the posting for patient counselling and communication.
Strong knowledge of prescription verification drug interactions and safe dispensing practices.
Familiarity with Drug & Cosmetics Act and Good Pharmacy Practice requirements.
Basic computer literacy and experience with billing/POS systems.

Preferred

Prior experience in a retail/community pharmacy environment.
Exposure to inventory management software or pharmacy management systems.
Training or experience in pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting.
