Job Summary
Job Description: Application DBA ECHO Project We are seeking a seasoned Application DBA to support the ECHO project a strategic transformation initiative within the Retail business focused on simplifying architecture reducing vendor dependencies and improving operational resiliency. The ideal candidate will play a key role in database consolidation performance optimization and ensuring seamless data flow across critical workbenches such as Pricing Deal Management Billing and Settlements.
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain SQL Server databases supporting various ECHO modules.
Collaborate with developers architects and cross-functional teams to implement scalable secure and high-performing database solutions.
Lead database consolidation reducing legacy systems from 42 databases to 7 to streamline architecture and improve efficiency.
Manage database operations including role-based access control (RBAC) security policies and environment governance.
Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks optimize queries and ensure data consistency across upstream and downstream systems.
Participate in Agile delivery cycles including regression testing integration testing and deployment readiness.
Enable smooth data flow and integrity across the ECHO transformation landscape.

Required Experience
8 years of SQL Server database development and administration.
5 years of experience managing databases in Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and enterprise database platforms.
Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright Azure DevOps (ADO) and performance testing methods.
