Job Summary
Middle School Special Education Teacher Full-Time School Year
Were seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher to join a collaborative middle school team for the school year. This is a full-time position designed for an educator who is passionate about supporting students academic behavioral and social-emotional growth in an inclusive engaging learning environment.
In this role youll provide direct instruction and targeted interventions for middle school students receiving special education services. Youll manage IEPs monitor progress toward individual goals and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs. Collaboration will be keyyoull partner closely with general education teachers paraprofessionals and related service providers to ensure every student has the tools and support needed to succeed.
The ideal candidate is a flexible compassionate educator who values teamwork communication and creative problem-solving. Experience supporting students with learning and behavioral differences is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to inclusive education and student-centered learning.
- Valid Minnesota teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or related field.
