What will you do

At Aurecon we bring ideas to life to imagine and co-create with our clients a better future for people and the planet. As part of our Transport Roads team this role will contribute to delivering innovative and sustainable road and transport design solutions across local and international projects.

The position will support design and documentation activities coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure quality outputs that reflect Aurecons commitment to technical excellence creativity and collaboration. As a Graduate Engineer in Roads Transport discipline you will:

• Work collaboratively with the Roads and Transport team to deliver high-quality engineering designs and documentation.

• Support the preparation of technical reports drawings and models for road and transport projects.

• Apply knowledge of transport engineering principles supported by relevant software to assist in project delivery.

• Contribute to project planning coordination and problem-solving in a team environment.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders external partners and clients ensuring Aurecons values of excellence integrity and collaboration are upheld.

• Embrace Aurecons culture of continuous learning curiosity and design-led innovation by bringing fresh thinking to project challenges

What can you bring to the team

Firstly you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:

Essential:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or other transport-related courses.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary settings.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.

• Strong problem-solving mindset with adaptability and willingness to learn.

Desired / Good to Have:

• Background in transport planning road design or infrastructure projects.

• Working knowledge of 12D or OpenRoads design software.

• Experience with basic AutoCAD drafting and design.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint).
