Flowserve Corporation a leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow management products and services has an exciting opportunity for a Project Application Engineer Co-op to join our team in Houston Texas. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of our organization with a focus on capital projects supporting engineering contractors and major Oil & Gas clients around the world.
This will be for June 2026 (Summer)
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of technical tasks under limited scope and direct supervision.
- Analyze customer specifications and process conditions to identify engineered pump solutions that deliver optimal hydraulic performance in petroleum processing applications.
- Review inquiry documentation and collaborate across disciplines to support the preparation of technical proposals for original equipment.
- Support general project-related duties including contract processing and transitioning project deliverables to operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command of the English language written and verbal
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education & Program Requirements
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum two years of coursework completed
- Must be enrolled in a university-approved Co-op program
