Job Summary
Company:
Boeing Distribution Inc.Boeing Global Services Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Experienced Supply Base Management Specialist (Level 3) for our Long Beach CA facility.
Position Responsibilities:
Facilitates supplier/subcontractor business relationships in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
Develops and participates in the implementation of supply base plans to support customer program and commodity strategies.
Analyzes and monitors supplier quality delivery and financial performance data to identify risks issues and opportunities.
Develops mitigation plans.
Identifies and participates in supplier and business improvement activities. Provides outcomes for potential integration into contracting strategies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6 years of related experience
Experience in data analysis
More than 3 years of experience in procurement and supplier development
More than 3 years of supply chain experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to drive results.
Experience in supply chain capacity planning
Experience in Project Management
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office tool suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Experience with basic ERP system functionality SAP or similar tool
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Education:Bachelors Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management Accounting Finance Business or a related field
Aerospace experience
Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a global supply chain environment
Experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements and an applied understanding of Lean practices
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (asset/program management)
Communication skills collaboration and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role
