We are currently looking for a Accounting Sr. Specialist to join our team in Aguascalientes. This role will support the Specialized Accounting team. The Sr. Analyst will record track and reconcile non-ABS related debt. This position serves as a business partner with Nissans Finance organization such as Treasury Accounting Reporting Tax Legal outsourced partners and others by providing accounting input. This position provides subject matter knowledge by understanding and managing the general ledger recording of cash debt and other transactions as well as understanding the subsidiary systems impacting these transactions. Compiles and analyzes complex financial information having a major fiscal impact on the company; prepares complex reports general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
A Day in the Life:
- Actively involved in the accounting closing activities by preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and performing account analysis.
- Prepares/reviews monthly account reconciliations: researches open items and account discrepancies coordinates resolution of open items with other affected departments and management. Makes recommendations and implements solutions.
- Supports monthly and quarterly OAR activities
- Supports quarterly external audit activities
- Uses analytical and critical thinking skills to support team and assist customers
- Responsible for ensuring that accounting transactions are performed accurately and in accordance with corporate policies and external requirements (GAAP and other related standards).
Who Were Looking for:
Required:
- Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
- 5 7 years of related professional level experience
- Fluent English Upper intermediate
- Firm understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
- Excellent analytical verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
- Good time management skills
- Thorough knowledge of Excel PowerPoint other PC applications and mainframe applications to produce non-standard creative products.
