Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Contract Accountant to support our finance team on a temporary or project-based basis. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for performing a range of accounting duties includingreconciliations and general accounting (GL entries).

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records reports and general ledger entries.
Perform account reconciliations including bank statements balance sheets and income statements.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with GAAP.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks NetSuite SAP or similar).
Excellent attention to detail organizational and communication skills.
