As we continue to grow we are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager FP&A to lead financial planning and analysis efforts. Position Summary The Senior Manager FP&A will lead the finance function at the company serving as a strategic partner across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer this role is responsible for overseeing budgeting forecasting and financial analysis activities. The Senior Manager FP&A will play a critical role in driving financial performance providing insights that support decision-making and long-term planning. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They are comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the CFO and other senior leaders to guide the companys financial strategy. Key Responsibilities - Lead the annual budgeting and in-year financial forecast processes in collaboration with the management team Area Leaders and Functional Group Owners.
- Review and analyze Estimate at Completion (EAC) submissions from project managers to ensure financial accuracy.
- Evaluate project-level financial performance identify margin improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with business development and operations to develop and refine pricing models that align with market dynamics and profitability goals.
- Own the month-end close analysis and reporting package including variance analysis and executive-level insights.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial results.
- Maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams providing financial insights and recommendations.
- Support development and tracking of KPIs to measure performance and drive accountability.
- Cashflow and balance sheet forecasting.
- Ad hoc financial modelling.
- Financial modelling to support M&A.
- Drive overhead cost efficiency including leadership in Real Estate and IT spend oversight.
- Support analysis of marketing spend and measurement of ROI to ensure effective investment decisions.
- Assist in developing and evaluating growth strategies to drive long-term financial performance.
- Confident communicator who can translate complex data into insights for non-finance audiences and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Technical expertise in financial modeling scenario planning and variance analysis.
- People leader with demonstrated ability to delegate and manage.
- Ability to build and lead a high performing team to support the business as it grows.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field (MBA with specialization in Finance or CPA preferred).
- 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance.
- Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Experience in project-based or engineering environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Organized and detail-oriented with strong time management capabilities.
