The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for comprehensive direct patient care management. As an APP you will manage a caseload of patients and exercise autonomous decision making in the assessment diagnosis and initiation of delegated medical treatments. The scope of practice also includes family support discharge planning staff education and this role you will provide direct support to patients throughout the inpatient stay for all abdominal transplant patients.
This individual will utilize advance practice skills obtained through the completion of a formal provider program. These skills include advanced levels of assessment planning intervention and evaluation of care as well as performing some invasive procedures. For this position the APP will be responsible for functions related to the clinical care and management of solid organ transplant patients and others with end-stage organ disease. The APP is also responsible for planning organizing and directing patient care efforts in collaboration with medical and surgical physicians and other team members.

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
