6 month Fixed-Term Opportunity
We are seeking experienced and adaptable English language teachers to join our dynamic team at ELA on a fixed term basis. You will deliver high-quality instruction across a range of programmes including Academic English English Pathway Programmes General English Business English and English for Specific Purposes. Teaching may be delivered in-person online or in hybrid formats across morning afternoon or evening shifts.
Youll be part of a collaborative teaching environment contributing to curriculum planning student support and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective English language teaching across ELA programmes
- Prepare and plan lessons in line with course objectives and student needs
- Use technology and innovative methods to support learning outcomes
- Complete administrative tasks including attendance assessment reporting and LMS updates
- Participate in student orientation graduations and extracurricular activities
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes
- Support team initiatives and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals
This is a full-time 37.5 hours per week six month fixed-term role. The salary range for this role is $70000-$75000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Youll bring a student-centred approach strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Youre confident teaching in diverse formats and committed to continuous improvement.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- Undergraduate degree
- Cambridge CELTA or equivalent
- At least two years TESOL experience
- Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes and pathway programmes
- Comfortable with online hybrid and in-person delivery
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Cultural awareness and a positive solution-focused attitude
Desirable:
- Postgraduate TESOL qualifications (e.g. DELTA PGDip Masters in TESOL or Applied Linguistics)
- Experience teaching overseas or in ESP contexts
- Experience in CELTA training or support
- Curriculum/resource development experience across delivery modes
