We are looking for an exceptional handy-person to maintain our communitys buildings and facilities and contribute to the quality of our residents lives through responsive and supportive assistance.
This role is packed full of variety where no two days will be the same. The successful applicant will have a maintenance/trade background and be responsible for:
- carrying out scheduled routine checks
- resolving planned and unplanned maintenance issues
- supervising and assisting contractors
- collaborating with others within the community to ensure the premise is maintained to a high standard at all times
Qualifications :

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Good DIY skills and experience with facility maintenance
- Understanding of local and central government compliance schedules (BWOF)
- High energy physical fitness and enthusiasm
- Ability to manage technical systems and use computer software effectively
- Honesty integrity and great communication skils
We are looking for a team member who enjoy:
- Interacting with older New Zealanders
- Performing to a high standard with diligence and care
- Working within a team where we respect our residents and each other
