Your mission

Pierre Fabre is currently looking for a skilled excellence 3PL Manager to take the lead in managing and enhancing the performance of our external logistics this key role you will work closely with our subsidiariesparticularly supporting local operations managersto ensure our third-party logistics providers consistently deliver excellence in service cost efficiency and continuous development.

You will be responsible for optimizing our global 3PL network driving operational improvements and assisting subsidiaries in logistics transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Oversight

  • Define and implement performance management standards across the 3PL network.

  • Apply a data-driven approach to monitor and boost operational efficiency at the site level.

  • Lead structured reviews to track and improve partner performance.

Cost Optimization

  • Possess strong insight into 3PL financial models identifying hidden cost drivers.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to fine-tune business cases and support cost-reduction strategies.

  • Lead a global analysis to redesign our international distribution landscape for improved service levels productivity and overall cost effectiveness.

Transformation Initiatives

  • Collaborate with Procurement to standardize processes for 3PL tenders: including RFPs RFQs response evaluations and warehouse audits.

  • Oversee the implementation of new 3PL partners alongside local teamscovering contracts process design interface management layout planning and inventory transfers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Foster a collaborative environment between local logistics teams and the global 3PL community.

  • Serve as a key point of contact and subject-matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Apply Lean Six Sigma or other improvement tools to proactively prevent performance issues.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives ensuring follow-through and adoption at local sites.

  • Effectively align stakeholders on enhancement strategies and ensure their execution.

The position is based in Muret (31) and entitled to 2 days work from home.

This position is available as soon as possible according to your availability as part of a permanent contract.

Who you are

You have a Masters degree in Logistics Supply Chain or Business Administration with a minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations or supply chain management with a focus on 3PL coordination.

  • Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time to 3PL sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in managing large-scale logistics networks and driving operational excellence.

  • Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making capabilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for managing cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Comfortable analyzing data and interpreting complex logistics KPIs.

  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement frameworks.

  • Experience in contract negotiation and influencing service provider behavior.

  • Proactive in proposing and leading high-impact initiatives.

  • Track record of building trusted relationships and maintaining open effective communication with senior logistics leaders.
