Your Role
Accurately and efficiently code inpatient episodes to meet internal quotas and support external submissions.
Participate in quality activities monthly coding meetings and ongoing professional development.
Collaborate with your team to continuously improve coding standards and processes.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Classifications for this position will range from Health Information Manager Grade 1- 2 JA3 JB1 ($74172 - $103724 per annum pro rata)

Your Contribution
Bachelor/Masters degree in Health Information Management or recognised Clinical Coding qualification
Minimum of 2 years experience tertiary hospital casemix (desirable)
Experience in use of 3M Codefinder software
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Eligibility for full registration with the Health Information Management Association of Australia (desirable)
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or willing to obtain
