Role Description
We are currently seeking experienced Multiskilled Support Workers to join our team in Ridgewood supporting a participant living with Huntingtons Disease and an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).
The participant presents with behaviours of concern so previous experience in behaviour management and a calm confident approach are essential.
Shifts will be based within a SIL home environment with a mix of day and evening shifts available.
Responsibilities
Provide quality person-centred support in daily living and community activities.
Implement behaviour support strategies in line with the clients Behaviour Support Plan.
Maintain accurate progress notes and communication through ShiftCare.
Support the participant to achieve their personal goals and maintain independence.
Promote safety dignity and choice at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience supporting individuals with behaviours of concern (essential)
Experience with ABI or Huntingtons Disease (preferred)
Strong communication and de-escalation skills
Reliable professional and passionate about making a difference

Award: SCHADS Award pay level based on qualification and experience
