This is a contract position until February 2027

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (Hybrid)
(1-hour lunch: 30 minutes paid 30 minutes unpaid

What your day to day will look like:

  • Work closely with the IT team & MSP to ensure that all users receive appropriate service and support escalating as required
  • Escalate any concerns or issues with service providers as required
  • Basic network troubleshooting; DHCP DNS PING FTP VPN
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any issues that arise related to Laptops Desktops cell phones tablets telephone/conference systems printers/scanners/fax machines or internet providers
  • Aid organizations users by understanding the issue and its cause explaining the problem to the user in a clear and helpful manner
  • Basic knowledge of ADUC pertaining to new account creation disabling accounts password MGMT
  • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding of all users; requesting set up/termination with the internal team & MSP
  • Conduct the set up and change over of all mobile devices
  • Conduct training with users on all technology solutions as required.

What youll need to succeed:

  • Post Secondary Education in Information Technology or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Experience managing mobile devices networks and VoIP systems (8x8 experience considered an asset)
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in a helpdesk role with an IT focus
  • Good technical knowledge of the following Microsoft suite; WindowsSharePoint OneDrive & MS Teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management skills ensuring that requests are responded to in a timely manner to service issues and requests offering exceptional customer service
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with great interpersonal skills

Our interview process:

  • 20 minute preliminary phone interview with our Recruiter
  • 20-40 minute assessment (depending on optional practice questions or breaks)
  • 30 minute MS Teams video interview with Hiring Manager and direct Supervisor
