Job Summary
This is an entry level position with an opportunity to be part of something bigger.
As a Kitchen Attendant / Kitchen Steward you will work as part of a team to keep the hotel kitchens and washing up areas clean and tidy with great opportunity to learn and expand your skills.
The ideal candidate will be energetic self-motivated have attention to detail and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.
What you will be doing:
- Assisting with basic food preparation duties with opportunities to learn
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitising of all surfaces
- Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
- Responsible operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Organized safe-minded and a great team player
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene (Basic Food Safety Certificate under Australian standards is an advantage)
