The University of Chicagos Department of Pediatrics Section of Pediatric Rheumatology is searching for full-time faculty members at any rank. Appointees will provide primary outpatient clinical care for pediatric patients with rheumatologic illnesses in academic medical center and community settings as well as consultative inpatient care. Appointees will also contribute to patient care medical education and scholarship and join a vibrant diverse and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine the Biological Sciences Division the Pritzker School of Medicine and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity.
Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications. This position is benefits-eligible. Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and 3) be Board certified or Board eligible in pediatric rheumatology.
