Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Python & Ruby Developer with strong backend development expertise and experience working in fast-paced scalable environments. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Python MySQL and Ruby on Rails with additional experience across modern web technologies like React ElasticSearch Redis and Sidekiq.

Responsibilities and Duties

Design develop and maintain backend services using Python and Ruby on Rails.
Build optimize and manage databases and queries using MySQL for high-performance data access.
Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate backend services with React applications.
Implement and maintain ElasticSearch Redis and Sidekiq for search optimization caching and background job processing.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and cross-functional team collaborations.
Troubleshoot debug and optimize existing systems for scalability and reliability.
Stay up to date with modern development trends including AI-driven tools and automation frameworks.

Qualifications and Skills

7 years of experience in software development with a focus on Python and Ruby on Rails.
Strong experience working with MySQL databases including schema design and query optimization.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and experience with TypeScript (nice to have).
Experience with ElasticSearch Redis and Sidekiq for distributed data and background job management.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs software architecture and design patterns.
Knowledge or hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies is a big plus.
Excellent problem-solving debugging and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in an agile collaborative environment.
