$131911 - $142056 package includes base salary ($116219 - $125157 per annum) plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The Work Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist is responsible for providing specialised WHS advisory systems management and reporting services to the business and communities on a broad range of routine and complex WHS issues to ensure the effective implementation of the WHS system.
This role will see you responsible for providing expert advice support and guidance to ensure TAFE NSW can meet their accountabilities and all of its statutory obligations for safety by driving a positive safety culture working closely with leaders and the workforce to coach and mentor safe working behaviours.
While the base location for this position is negotiable it is limited to campuses within the EasternSydney and Southern NSW Regions subject to TAFE NSW campus availability.
About You
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. A collaborative team mindset is essential. Youll conduct risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards. Experience working with internal teams to maintain a safe and effective environment is highly valued.
You must hold a minimum Class C drivers licence with the capacity to travel for TAFE NSW business purposes as required.
