Procurement Agent or Senior Procurement Agent

Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Procurement Agent or Senior Procurement Agent (Level 3 or Level 4) to join the Supply Chain Castings team located in Everett WA.

Primary duties include managing relationships with external companies and internal stakeholders and negotiating cost recoveries terms and conditions and contract extensions. This individual will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will execute and maintain contracts within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience from Mid-Level to Senior Procurement Agents.

Position Responsibilities:

• Own internal stakeholder relationships and drive identification of contract needs and specifications.

• Evaluate proposals and review contract terms and conditions

• Negotiate pricing terms and conditions to achieve the best value for the organization

• Review and analyze contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

• Monitor contract performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement procedures and ensure alignment with organizational goals

• Ensure compliance with internal policies procedures and audit requirements

• Mentor and develop team members

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

• 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word)

• 3 years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 4: 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management Supply Chain Procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes

• Bachelors Degree or higher in Supply Chain Management Business or a related field

• 5 years of experience drafting contracts or legal documents

• 3 years of experience creating and developing strategy

• 3 years of experience developing proposals or contracts

• 3 years of experience working in Procurement and/or Contract Administration roles
