Position Responsibilities:

  • Guides integrated product design/build teams by independently representing Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions
  • Leads cross-functional teams in the introduction of new tools and techniques
  • Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers
  • Investigates complex ordering conditions
  • Develops and implements new ordering methodologies
  • Ensures organizational compliance with inventory management policies contractual requirements and governmental regulations
  • Creates complex schedules
  • Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals
  • Identifies analyzes develops and implements best practices processes and procedures for SCM
  • Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies
  • Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing documenting implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute
  • Works under minimal direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options..

This position is for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management Logistics Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Production Control Materials Management or Supply Chain roles with direct oversight of 3PL/4PL logistics providers.
  • Proven expertise in performance management regulatory compliance and process control in supplier and manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations contract compliance and supplier billing validation.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex multi-site programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with process mapping KPI development and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Advanced degree (Masters or MBA) in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working within aerospace defense or highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with Boeings Production Control and Materials Management systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated success in deploying technology solutions to improve supply chain reliability and cost efficiency.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks impacting logistics and materials management (e.g. ITAR FAR/DFARS).
  • Project management certification (PMP Six Sigma Lean) is a plus.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc.) preferred but not required.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.
